BIONOVA 24h Biological Indicator for Steam 100/Box, BT20/6

The Bionova BT20 is a self-contained biological indicator designed for monitoring steam sterilization processes. Each vial contains Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores (ATCC 7953) with a population of 10^5 or 10^6 spores per vial. It is suitable for both vacuum-assisted and gravity air-displacement steam sterilization cycles operating at temperatures between 121°C and 135°C. After a sterilization cycle, the indicator medium will change from purple to yellow if the process was ineffective, indicating the presence of live spores. If sterilization is successful, the medium remains purple. The final readout is available after 24 hours of incubation at 60±2°C. Each box contains 100 vials.
